Teak is a prestigious timber as it is widely regarded as supreme timber for hardwood furniture. It will not rot or warp and its natural oils allow it to withstand the effects of the sun, rain, snow or frost as well as making it impervious to insects.  

Maintenance can be quite low depending on the exposure the timber has to the elements. Teak can be either left to age naturally or you may prefer to maintain the honey brown colour. If left to age naturally, teak will eventually turn a beautiful silver-grey colour. 

Textilene is a mesh fabric woven of strong polyester yarns that are individually coated with PVC, specifically designed for outdoor use. This product is the best choice for sling furniture because it is elegant, strong and very durable to outdoor exposure. Very easy maintenance as you only need to do a few simple things to help maintain the sling, follow these steps:

• Brush off loose dirt
• Hose down
• Prepare a cleaning mixture of water and mild, natural soap (no detergents)
• Use a soft bristle brush to clean
• Allow soap to soak in
• Rinse thoroughly
• Air dry.
